Overnight oats

Ingredients: 1/2 cup uncooked old fashioned organic oats

1 to 1/12 cups vegan milk of choice (I like oat, cashew or almond milk)

1 T chia seeds

handful of berries of your choice (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)

1 t honey

handful of raw almonds or walnuts

1 T hemp seeds

Place all ingredients except nuts and hemp seeds in a sealable container (I like to use mason jars) and refrigerate overnight. I like to prepare this at night right before I go to bed for an easy breakfast in the morning. When ready to eat, give the mixture a good stir and add in your raw nuts and hemp seeds. Enjoy either warmed up or straight out of the refrigerator. Depending on how thick you like your oats you may need to add a little more milk to your mixture at night. You can experiment with different fruit or toppings as well. Bananas and toasted flaked coconut are nice in this as well with a dash of cinnamon:)
